The delicious donut captivates with a creamy hazelnut filling, enveloped in a crunchy cocoa shell with roasted hazelnuts," says Gabriela Schagerl, Head of Innovation at NEOH. "By replacing sugar with the sugar substitute formula developed by NEOH, the donut contains important plant-based fibers and has little impact on blood sugar levels*," Schagerl further explains.
Because the new NEOH donut with hazelnut cream not only tastes excellent, but, like all NEOH products, is completely free of added sugar. Furthermore, it is also 100% vegan and palm oil free.
"The donut is our first collaboration with a bakery chain and opens up a very interesting new distribution channel with a lot of potential for us. I am convinced that this will be a successful pilot project for a long-term partnership," said Adel Hafizovic, co-founder and CSO of NEOH.

*A clinical study by the Medical University of Vienna shows that the sugar substitute formula developed by NEOH has no or only minimal effects on blood sugar levels compared to sugar.
